Having broken Sachin's record, everyone applauds and appreciates the fact that he holds a new record. A record of highest run in an ODI innings breaking Sachin's 200. The man is the most dangerous player bowlers throw the ball to. He's the most unpredictable batsman on the field.
Like every other time, I followed the cricket news on the best news channel ever - Facebook and I see couple of posts about his game which I reckon is one-fourth the number of posts when Sachin scored his 200. With kudos all over, I realized the man never had a better score in the first three games, makes a smashing 219, stays out for the rest of the game and probably would rest for the next game too!!! I wish he makes score for the next couple of games. Captaincy? Game winning strategy? - Excellently handled by Gautam Gambhir. Did Sachin ever mention 'he's getting old'? There's a difference between passion for game and bat!! That's why he's mentioned the GOD of cricket. With one record broken, it doesn't mean Sehwag's the God. It was a different game altogether against bowlers like Steyn and Morkel for Sachin. He'll play a high scoring innings once but that would be after couple of horrible knocks. Sehwag did display some of the characteristics of a bloke but more than him, the guy who made some noise to me was the debutant Rahul Sharma. First 3 overs of his international cricket career and all ending with wickets on the over's last ball and clean bowled the batsmen every single time! The guy's got balls to stay and he made sure he would.

Not a cricket fan, not a Sehwag fan either!! I rarely follow cricket for 1 reason - Sachin Tendulkar!!
The only match I would have seen in 5 or 6years is the 2011 world cup final and not fully though.
