Kutto ka koi weekend nahi hota, Kutte saato din Kutte hote hai

Friday 4pm jab manager apna 'thellaa' lekar tumhare cabin me enter hoti hai... Aisi hi feeling aati hai jaise Sushmita Sen tumhari orr aa rahi hai. Wo lehrati 'blonde' zulfe, wo 'neeli' aankhen, wahi 'fake' muskurahat, kamsin si wo chaal aur haath jab jaata hai Coach ke 'thelle' me tab uff aisa lagta hai ki aaj hi promotion letter nikaalegi.. Par kambakht asliyat dekho:

"Hey Darsh, this is the report from yesterday's meeting and we are losing time due to variant schedule changes from the client's end. I would really want you to have a review session tomorrow and get things sorted out. Will that be okay with u?"

Kya kya sapne sajaaye the!! Friday night - Halloween party,ladkiyan hongi, mauj karenge; Saturday subeh hogi 11 baje, fir Rocky Mountains National Park fulttoo dhamaal, lekin kismat ki karvat dekho!

"And it would great if you finish reviewing the report by the end of day, so that you'll facilitate better tomorrow. I, unfortunately have to take my kids for a Halloween thing so won't be able to join you but in case you need me I'll have my cell. Okay?? Bye!!" 

Mann se saari bhadaas nikalne ki taiyaari ho rahi thi aur jheeb apne aap hi saari gaali taiyaar kar rahi thi ki muh khulte hi nikalta ki "Teri..."

"Oh yah! absolutely!! Don't worry!! I'll be here at 8".

Haara hua sipaahi jaise dushman  ke ilaake me bhes ka gobar utha raha hota hai waise hi main wo report ke panno ko ulatta gaya.

Kabhi socha hai Saturday 8am job par jaana kaisa hota hai?? Bilkul kabristan wali feeling aati hai!! Wahi sannatta, wahi andhera aur wahi elevator ki chhichori awaaz, It's just the same. Fark sirf itna hota hai ki wahaan peshaab karna mañaa hai. Shaanti se office me tum kaam Kar rah ho aur achanak se kahi gaaliyon ki bauchhar ho rahi ho; tab mann prafullit sa ho jaata hai. Ye lagta hai ki koi aur bhi aaj insaan se kutta bane hue hai aur wahi tumhara dukh ka saathi hai.
Meetings (on call) khatam karne ke baad jab ghar jaane ka ek tinka ucchalta hai, tab movie ki yaad aati hai. Cabin closed, Lights off, Projector on and the film shuru. Aur movie dekhte dekhte kuch reports review bhi ho jaata hai. Bas 1hr extra add hota hai. Lekin 7pm jab manager ko courtesy call karo ki kaam ho gaya hai tab ek ummeed hoti hai ki 'shabash mere cheete'. Lekin asliyat -

"That's wonderful. So if you don't have plans tomorrow, would you have a short review session before lunch? Just a 2hr review session will be fine. I don't wanna ruin your Sunday"

Na. Isse zyaada mohabbat kabhi nahi hui apni manager se. Aise maamlo me zabaan apne aap "Yes" bak deti hai.
Aur fir Sunday ki wahi kahaani -on call, movie and report.
But at the end of two days, the bunch of work finished puts us way ahead of schedule and that's when you feel elated and in actual sense happy!! No regrets par kaam khatam karne ki khushi kuch aur hi hai.
